Q

Have you ever broken anything?

A

Not while flying a helicopter, but while working line service for the flight school, I slipped on ice and scraped the tail of an R22. It was undamaged except for the paint but the flight block had to be cancelled. I learned a valuable lesson about taking the time to use the proper safety equipment for the job.
