What is your greatest weakness?
I sometimes have trouble asking for help when I think I can achieve something all on my own even if it is exhausting to do so. Outside of work my greatest weakness is that I’m a bad cook.
What is your greatest strength?
I can work well with anyone. I’m good at prioritizing my things that matter and that allows me to maintain a good work ethic. I also have a good understanding of my own abilities and limits.
Where do you see yourself in 4-5 years
In 4-5 years my goal is have experience in utility work, which is part of the reason I would like to work for Papillon at the South Rim.
What will you do if you have an opportunity to get your dream job halfway through your contract with papillon
Continue to work at papillon and honor the contract I signed.
Have you ever broken anything?
Not while flying a helicopter, but while working line service for the flight school, I slipped on ice and scraped the tail of an R22. It was undamaged except for the paint but the flight block had to be cancelled. I learned a valuable lesson about taking the time to use the proper safety equipment for the job.
What is “just culture”?
Incidents and hazards are encouraged to be reported and the employee is not penalized for honest mistakes. It does not tolerate gross negligence or recklessness.
What is SMS
Safety Management System. It allows the company to learn from the experiences of their staff and implement training and awareness to avoid hazards in the future.
What do you do if a passenger has a medical emergency in flight?
Scene safety. Continue normal flight. Call ahead for help.
Part 93?
Special Flight Rules Area and SFAR 50-2
Additional requirements for flying tours. Specific minimum altitudes. Must monitor appropriate frequency t all times. Time of day curfew. 500’+ AGL requirement. Quarterly reporting requirements.

For flight not in vicinity of airport, weather reports and forecasts, fuel requirements, alternatives available if the planned flight cannot be completed, and any known traffic delays
