There is a poorer quality of environment to the east for example there are a cluster of location in 15,16,19,20
They scored very high
The north west had lowered numbers

Usually town centre attract more people
Less space and more litter more visitors come on the street which invites pollution and fast food

Where is Keswick
Keswick is a small town in the Lake District National Park Cumbria this is in North West of England this is roughly 70 miles from Newcastle
Why is we choose Keswick
It is a good location to stay toys and it is close to our school and also it’s a safe area with little risk a wide range of data can be obtain there

We asked people in Keswick High Street questions such as why they were there how long will they will stay in and how much they would spend people were ask randomly and the answers were recorded in my field work book

For a given location I scored the area on different aspects of the environment for example noise open space building repair quality and give it a score from 0 to 4 0 was the best
Why was this collected environmental quality check
This helped me find out whether the environmental quality in Keswick is good or not it also helped me to see if there are any areas of the town where the quality was not as good
Problems in the quality check analysis
My pollen I cannot agree on the school and some categories not really apply
What were the problems in the questionnaire
Not everyone wanting to answer my question and I might have been biased towards women and older the people as they look friendlier
What ways of presentation do I use for my data questionnaire
Questionnaire pie charts and graphs I chose this so I can easily compare the different results
What way should I use to present my data environmental quality
I drew radar graph and overlaid them out of the map so I can see you where the best and worst environmental scores were
What did I found out in my questionnaire
47% of people were tourists 45% had travel over 100 miles to get there 46% will spend over £100
What did I found out in my environmental quality survey
We found out that the environment of Keswick was good with the our school being 6.5 out of 20 the best environmental quality was at 1 7 and 23 which was 3 out of 20 and the worst Point was at 19 10 out of 20
Why are there so many tourists
Keswick relies on tourism it is a popular tourist destination quiet mountains and coffee shop
Why was it like this in environmental quality check
.19 was outside Greggs to the poor environmental quality could be explained by the shop Keswick is kept tidy for The Tourists and the type of people who visit Keswick do not damage the environment

There is a link between how far people travel and the family mainly travel by car 62%

There is a link between PT 19 be the worst environmental quality score and it been the busiest 40 6 people counted there

Tourists are important to the economy
Tourist only cause congestion that’s the only problem
Tourist do not cause significant damage as the environmental quality check were good
