A
ao1 - test ability to find information and ideas in two sources and sum,marise what you find

What shouldn’t you do in q2?
A
- analyse language or the effect on audience
- summarise means ‘retelling in your own words’
- points need to be backed up with quotations, but you don’t need to analyse the words themselves
- just choose quotations to back up your points
- need to summarise the difference between the sources

What is the key to gaining full marks?
A
- perceptive answer
- less obvious things, most people will not notice
- look for implicit differences
- the differences we can tease out with careful study
- demonstrate inferance
- do as much as you can do in 10 minutes
