all come together to express emotion/passion
e.g. queen passing, all ages mourning without even knowing her

Unlike Scots, Welsh and Irish, English national identity is elusive quest to expand Britishness has diluted Englishness

either strong individual nationality or embrace globalisation

-Cultural Resistance –>Protect cultural heritage, more nationalistic (suggest no decline)
