a microorganism that causes disease

lymphocytes and phagocytes

what do the phagocytes do + features
A
ingest pathogens and digest them with enzymes
non-specific so destroy anything that is foreign

what do lymphocytes do + features
A
secrete antibodies (proteins) which are specific to the pathogen they are destroying they bind to the antigens on the surface of the pathogens
