makes up for original sin, brings people closer to god. gives opportinity for salvation to be available to all people

jesus could have avoided it but he knew it was necessary to restore realtionship between god and humans. cruc was result of human evil against innocent man

death has been defeated, as unjust, goodness of jesus defeated evil of sin

humans to receive forgiveness for their actions, salavtion can happen if ask in faith
