hatched/born in a state and able to feed itself and move instantly

Multiple Attachments
attachments to two or more people
Specific Attachment
attachments infants form towards one specific person that they look to for comfort and security
Separation Anxiety
fear of being away from primary caregiver
Stranger Anxiety
manifested by crying when an unfamiliar person approaches
Asocial Attachment
a new born attaches to any human or thing, babies respond equally to any caregiver
Indiscriminate Attachment
babies have a preference for certain people but accept care from anyone

Imprinting
when an animal (typically a bird) forms an attachment to the first moving thing they meet that is larger than them
