A

Some centres offer psychosurgery when everything else
has failed
 Cingulotomy
 Capsulotomy
 Approx 40-50 response rate
 No RCTs (one underway in Brazil)
 Highly invasive and controversial

New experimental treatments:
 Transcraneal magnetic stimulation
 Deep Brain Stimulation
