CT scan reveals a pancreatic mass in 90%
then
surgical biopsy/removal at same time.
If CT is negative while suspecting Pancreatic CA
endoscopic ultrasound with biopsy of the pancreatic lesions
Pancreatic Cancer Tx
-Qx Resection if possible
Chemotherapy and radiation have little benefit in pancreatic cancer. The 5-year survival rate is just 5%.
