Where is the pancreas located?

A

overlies and transversely crosses L1 and L2 bodies on the posterior abdominal wall
it is posterior to the stomach and is between the duodenum on the right and the spleen on the left

A

begins at the tail and runs through to the head. It is closely attached to the bile duct and the two unite to form the AOV

A

anterior and posterior superior pancreaticoduodenal arteries from the gastroduodenal from the common hepatic from the celiac trunk and anterior and posterior inferior pancreaticoduodenal from the SMA
