nonopioid analgesic; DONT GIVE TO PT WITH GI BLEED OR KIDNEY DISEASE; MONITOR BUN AND CREATINE
Acetaminophen
LIVER damage if taken in excess- check AST and ALT; dont give to patient with liver cirrhosis or liver failure (indicated by juandice)

bleeding, ulcers, tinnitus
ex asprin, motrin, toradol, naproxen
2nd Generation NSAIDS
less side effects, doesnt effect GI and platelets
celebrex
Steroids SE
increased BG, BP, HR, appetite
Steroid nursing considerations
short term, must be tapered, cannot be taken with live vaccine
