Classic symptoms
Immunoglobulin A vasculitis
A generalised vasculitis of skin, GI tract, joint and kidneys
Affects glomerulus of kidneys - elevated creat, haematuria, proteinuria, and nephritis 20%
Palpable pupura: low plts
Colicky abdominal pain : interception, heme positive stool
Peri articular disease of knees and ankles
Complications of HSP
Nephropathy end stage renal disease
Intussception
What do muddy brown cast do urinalysis suggest
Acute tubular necrosis
What are 3 indications for bronchoscopy in children
- History of choking
- Unilateral wheeze
- x ray shows hyperinflation on expiration
In complete upper airway obstruction management
