Ewings sarcoma
Extremely painful, occuring in pelvis and long bones
Where does osteosarcoma normally occur?
Long bones- metaphyseal region
Typically femur>tibia>humerus
What best describes the deformity of club foot?
Tx?
Inverted, plantar flexed and not passively correctable

Management of this?
Impetigo:
Topical hydrogen peroxide cream
If this is not possible then topical fusidic acid
If extensive disease then oral flucloxacillin
Isolate from school until 48hrs after starting abx treatment or when lesions have crusted over and healed
Difference between gastroschisis and exomphalos
Gastroschisis is abdominal contents outside without a sac
Exomphalos is a herniation with contents being inside a sac, more of an umbilical ring defect
What is exomphalos associated with?
Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome
Down’s syndrome
cardiac and kidney malformations
