P05 Product Design Specification Flashcards

1
Q

What is the Product Design Specification (PDS)?

A

Very important document as it contains all information necessary for a design team to successfully produce a solution to the design problem inside the project or the work package.

A PDS splits the problem up into smaller categories to make it easier to consider.

The final document should fully document as detailled as possible all the requirements that a product must fulfill together with any constraints that may affect the product.
