Explain the otto cycle

A

1- gas is compressesd

2- the gas then combusted causing high pressure

3- gas expands and does work (adiabatic process - doesn’t lose heat energy) (isothermal - work done at constant temperature)

4- exhaust valve opens and leftover heat is rejected
