Why do you think Ponyboy becomes so sick? What are his symptoms?
Pony becomes so sick because he’s grieving over his best friend’s death and is in denial. Some of his symptoms are he’s in depression, delirious, malnourished, refuses to eat, and he has a concussion.
The narrator writes, “And the ground rushed up to meet me very suddenly.” What really happened?
He fainted/ passed out.
What was Randy’s purpose of visiting Ponyboy? What was the outcome of their conversation?
He wanted to tell Pony that Pony’s innocent. Randy also talks about the trial. As a result, Randy finds out that Pony is delirious.
