Dairys within 1km of secondary schools and tiertiary providers are to not sell —- this creates an environment where the – is harder to get and aims that their will be less of it around, creating an environment where it is not the ‘norm’.

Strengthen Community Action:
NZ drug foundation could work with university associations such as (OUSA) to distribute resources for students.
School and university Counsellers could also use these resources for their patients.

Develop Personal Skills:
Educational material on the health effects of smoking/drinking.

Reorient health services:
Training doctors to educate patients to stop smoking/vaping

Strengthen community action- Partnership with the community to empower the community to live healthy lifestyles through promotion and initiatives.

Develop personal skills- Providing health education through services or resources to enable learning so individuals can develop beneficial personal skills.

Reorient health services- the aim is to encourage prevention through health care provider and patient relationship and move away from only focusing on curative treatments.
