What is reorienting Health Services
The reorienting Health Services action area acknowledges that there are a variety of sectors within Australia that must work together to improve the health status of the nation.
Examples of ways in which these groups can move outside their normal capacity and work with others to improve health include
Ambulance officers speaking to young drivers about what they have to deal with at accidents to reduce road accidents/deaths.
Doctors working with childcare centres to promote and improve immunisation rates.
Police working with schools or presenting information to – student about Laws and consequences for things.
Increased funding for - Health Initiatives or schools
