How do you set up the ophthalmoscope?
A
Turn green dial
If the pt wears glasses, ask what prescription and adjust the diopter dial accordingly
Set the filter switch to the middle
Adjust the aperture dial so the size of the light is small first
Light off
Use the same eye as the eye you’re examining
