Prevention
A
- Placed in the supine position for sleep.
- Keep crib clear of objects
- Home cardiorespiratory monitoring is not recommended unless warranted
- Premature infants at high risk for recurrent episodes of apneas, bradycardia or hypoxemia after discharge
- Unstable airways
