A
cooking food using electromagnetic waves which causes the water molecules to vibrate and collide with each other causing friction which this produces heat

what are the advantages of microwaving?
A
- healthier method of cooking as there is little to no oil used
- quick method of cooking
- does not require constant attention
- minimal loss of nutrients due to short cooking time and low temperature
- easy to clean as no cooking required

what are the disadvantages of microwaving?
A
- food does not crisp or brown
- food may dey out if cooked for too long
- flavours cannot develop
- unsuitable for cooking large pieces of food (more than 7.5cm)
- uneven cooking leaves cold spots
