Drug Treatment for Nicotine Addiction

-Nicotine replacement therapy (NRT)
-Varenicline
-Bupropion

These drugs can be offered alongside behavioural support.
Most effective treatment option is varenicline, or a combination of long-acting NRT (transdermal patch) and short-acting NRT (lozenges, gum, sublingual tablets, inhaler, nasal spray and oral spray).
-If inappropriate, offer bupropion or a single therapy NRT instead.
