What are the 4 ways osteoporosis can be prevented?
A
- weight bearing exercise ( exp 25-40)
2, increase dietary intake calcium to 1500 mg/ day - get ample amounts vit D : food source ( fortified breakfast cereals, vit D sup/ sunlight: according to NIH 10-15mins)
- decrease intake of carbonated drinks
