Difference between metatarsus adductus & metatarsus varus
Adductus - intoe’d foot CAN be put in neutral position
Varus - intoe’d food CANNOT be brought into neutral position
What is clubfooting? What do the kids look like?
Tx? When in life?
talipes equinovarus. Congenital deformity, foot looks like it’s been rotated internally at ankle.
Tx: serial casts (immediately, at birth)
Running egg-beater appearance is associated with:
Femoral anteversion

Out-toeing has what foot apperance?
*Foot has up & out appearance

dx: frog-leg view of ice cream slipping off cone
Tx: ORIF
What is Nurse Maid’s Elbow?
Radial head subluxed from the annular ligament (encircles head of radius).
Can be from tugging on a non-compliant kid’s arm.
