Fibular
A distal to syndesmosis, usually avulsion fracture w/ no assoc injuries
B At level of syndesmosis, sometimes injury to syndesmosis & deltoid ligament/medial maleolus
Proximal to syndesmosis, usually assoc. w/ injury to syndesmosis & deltoid ligament/maleolus
Stress fractures, most common sites? Risk of malunion? most sensitive imaging
Most common-tibial, then metatarsal
MRI most sensitive Ix
Base of 2nd & 5th metatarsals have a risk of malunion
