Maximus - lateroposterior surface of sacrum and coccyx, gluteal surface ilium, thoracolumbar fascia, sacrotuberous ligament into iliotibial tract and gluteal tuberosity of femur
INF gluteal nerve (same roots as obturator internus and superior gemellus)
EXT rotate abduction, abduction, extension

Medius and Minimus (medius is superficial) - gluteal surface of ilium to lateral and anterior aspect greater trochanter respectively - Sup gluteal nerve (same roots as nerve to quadratus femoris and inferior gemellus)
INT rotate, abduction

Tensor fascia latae - ASIS into iliotibial tract
INT rotate, external rotation, weak abduction
