Organizational justice is a person’s perceptions of fairness at work.

What are the four types of organizational justice? Describe them.

- Distributive justice:
The perceived fairness of your outcome (i.e. distribution) (e.g. is the amount of my salary fair, is the amount of my grade fair). - Procedural justice:
The perceived fairness of the procedures used to arrive at your outcome (e.g. are the procedures used to arrive at my salary fair, are the procedures used to arrive at my grade fair). - Interpersonal justice:
The perceived fairness of your treatment by the authority figure who enacted the procedures used to arrive at your outcome (e.g. is the way I am treated about my salary by my supervisor fair, is the way I am treated about my grade by my professor fair). - Informational justice:
The perceived fairness of the way you have been relayed information by the authority figure who enacted the procedures used to arrive at your outcome (e.g. is the way I am relayed information about my salary by my supervisor fair, is the way I am relayed information about my grade by my professor fair).
Interpersonal justice and informational justice are jointly called interactional justice.
