Speaker/Sender
Refers to the communication system or channel used
Medium
Involves the method of expressing messages through various means like audio-visual, digital, and verbal channels.
Channel
Who receives and hears the message through the chosen channel and medium.
Listener/Receiver
It is the listener’s reaction, which can be verbal or nonverbal, and varies based on individual background. It can be positive, negative, or ambiguous.
Feedback
Includes the circumstances and setting of communication, affecting perceptions, actions, attitudes, and beliefs.
Context
It refers to disturbances that hinder message understanding, such as background noise or external distractions.
Noise
This model presents communication as a linear process.
