Q
When is RT used in OC cancer?
A
- Primary chemoRT is less common, would be 3 x weekly cisplatin
- Neo-adj chemo would be taxane, cicplatin and 5FUfollowed by chemoRT (in advanced or inoperable cases)
- Primary RT not recommended
- post-op chemoRT in unfavourable disease factors
- If no neck disection, prophylactic neck RT
- Adj RT if +ve or close margins
- Radical will be around 60-70Gy in 35#
8
Q
What are palliative regimens?
A
- Chemo- cisplat and 5FU
- short course RT (RCR has different reommendation)
9
Q
What is the SEND trial?
A
- Selective neck disection in patients in T1-T2 patients and survival
