  • Platin-based systemic therapies
  • 23% reduction in risk of mortality
  • 9% absolute survival increase and improved QoL

What is the prognosis for patients with brain mets?

A
  • Class I: <65, good PS and controlled primary tumour (RT will not be recommended)
  • Class III will not be recommended RT. median survival = <2 months, best supportive care suggested.
