OPT Flashcards
NNC VS RWY friction
The OPT can use NNC only with:
DRY RWY or
Braking Action
NNC LANDING Enroute
Only Max Manual distance is shown
OPT failure on all iPads o
the crew should contact OCC, who will run OPT using PC
software
Inputs For OPT
- V1 Optimized for Performance(FMC use only balance)
- Stopway & Clearway-Unequal( FMC equal)
- Lineup Allowance - Unequal
- Use of Optimum Field Length-V1MCG/VR/VMBE/OBSTACLES/FIELD
- RWY Slope- effect calculations
- Winds- effect calculations
- Contaminated Runway- supported
Field length
the greatest of the following values:
a. Accelerate Go under engine failure scenario 35’ for a dry runway.
15’ For a wet/contaminated runway .
b. accelerate stop (2 engines). Credit single-engine reverse thrust only on a wet/contaminated runway
c. 115 % distance takeoff path, with all engines operating.
Takeoff Policy
The takeoff performance limitations are:
- Tire speed limit weight
- Brake energy limit weight
- Structural (certified) Limit weight
- Field Length- optimum v1
- Climb Gradient :Segments.second 2.4%;Four 1.2%
EFP Turn
If the special EFP requires a turn, the required bank angle will be as stated in the EFP. Unless otherwise specified the start a turn point is located at the first DME distance after the departure
end of the RWY.
