Q

Explain the movements for the indirect fundoscopy

A

Initially, hold the lens to one side of the eye until
the tapetal reflex is
seen; then rotate the
lens such that the eye can be observed through it.
The lens is initially close to the cornea (about 1/2 inch away) & then it is moved toward you slowly until you see the fundic image filling the lens. You will likely now be about 1–2 inches away from the animal’s eye.
