What happens after you purchase your surety bond?
Go to county clerk’s office where 51% of your business happens
1. do oath
2. hand them notary packet
3. show bond proof of purchase
you may send all in mail but if you send via mail it’ll take forever and you only have 30 calendar days to file your oath and bond. therefore your commission will be void.
is commencement date the first day?
no, the day after counts as the first day of the entire 30 calendar days
if 30th day lands on a weekend or holiday, you skip that day to the next day the county clerk’s office is open
