Highway Traffic Act (HTA) Violations

Environmental Protection Act (EPA) Violations
The EPA governs the protection of Ontario’s natural environment. Offenses under this act include illegal dumping of waste, pollution, and violations related to air and water quality standards.
Occupational Health and Safety Act Violations
Offenses related to workplace safety and health, such as failing to follow safety protocols, negligence in maintaining equipment, or violating standards for worker protection.
Public Health and Safety Violations
Offenses under provincial public health regulations, including violations related to food safety, health inspections, and other public health concerns.
Municipal Bylaw Offenses
Municipalities in Ontario can pass bylaws that create offenses punishable under the POA. Examples include zoning violations, noise violations, waste disposal regulations, and other local community rules.
Liquor License Act Violations
Offenses related to the sale and consumption of alcohol, such as serving alcohol without a valid license or violating rules related to the sale of alcohol in public places.
Tobacco Control Act Violations
Offenses related to the sale, distribution, and use of tobacco products, including selling tobacco to minors, improper advertising, or violating smoking regulations.
Building Code Act Violations
Offenses related to violations of the Ontario Building Code, such as constructing a building without a proper permit or failing to adhere to safety and structural standards.
Municipal Act Violations
his may include offenses related to the governance of municipalities, such as improper conduct by elected officials or failure to comply with municipal policies or guidelines.
Fire Code Violations
Violations related to the fire safety regulations within Ontario, including failure to maintain fire alarms, fire exits, and fire safety equipment in public buildings or private residences.
Dog and Animal Control Bylaws
Offenses related to animal control, including licensing of pets, leash laws, or regulations regarding the treatment of animals.
