what is an acceptable use policy? what happens if you break them?
when you set up an online account you have to agree to the rules given in an acceptable use policy or code of conduct. breaking them will result in your account being withdrawn
what is the purpose of an acceptable use policy?
a set of rules set our to tell users how to behave on the website,

why do websites have acceptable use policies?
to protect users from abuse and inappropriate content
what is globalization and how does it relate to ict?
the increasing global relationship between cultures people and economic activity, ict and in internet is allowing us to communicate on a global scale
how are we allowed to make purchases around the world?
internet available 24/7/365 means time zones dont prevent sales being made
companies have now gone global with offices all around the world
why do some countries censor or controls access to social networking sites?
politics- repress oppositions to the government
security- prevent pants, terrorism being coordinated

it used IP address filtering. it looks to see if the IP of the user is from certain countries. it only allows certain ones to view the video and other not
