Poor Ollie doesn’t know his parents so he is brought up in a workhouse ( not really the best for poor Ollie), luck wasn’t really on his side so he sold to an undertaker as an apprentice, but he treats him badly. Oliver runs away from London and meets a gang of pickpockets lead by ARTHUR DODGER and trained by FAGIN so they try to make a thief out of him ( instead of a man :( )
-He watches a burglary of the gang to Mr. Brownlow who is struck by Oliver
-Later he is kidnapped by the gang who forces him to steal –) he is shot and wounded –) Mr. BROWNLOW adopts him
