axon bundle passes from

  • nasal cavity through
  • cribriform plate in to
  • anterior cranial fossa to
  • synapse in the olfactory bulb
  • this was from the 1st order neurons

A

from olfactory tract to medial & lateral olfactory stria

ending in cerebral cortex of prepiriform area, amygdala, etc

where does the optic tract terminate

A

in the lateral geniculate body (visual pathway)

*** remember that the medial geniculate body is for the auditory pathway!!
