Garden of Eden and the Fall
There was a store in the garden who tempted Eve to eat the forbidden fruit from the tree of knowledge. It said that it would make her powerful and more like God, she would not die. So Eve ate the fruit and gave some to man. They soon both realised that they where naked and sewed aprons for themselves out of fig leaves. When they heard God walking through the garden, they hid behind a bush. God questioned them on how they knew they where naked. They both blamed the serpent.
God put up two flaming swords to protect the garden Woman have increased pain in child-birth Harder to grow crops for man Serpent became an enemy of man Man returns to dust after he dies Serpent eats dust

Don’t give in to his anger
(God was testing Cain)

Cain then killed Abel
God asked where was his brother, (knowing what he’d done)
‘Am I supposed to take care if my brother ?’
God said Abel’s blood was crying out for him

God placed a mark on Cain saying that nobody could kill him or seven lives will be taken in revenge. Cain lived in the land of Nod.
The Near Sacrifice of Isaac
One day God told Abraham to take his son, Isaac, to the land of Moriha and offer him as a burnt sacrifice to God. Abraham obeyed God and set out with two donkeys and a couple of servants. On the 3rd day of traveling he left the servants to guard the donkeys and went on with his sone alone. Isaac then asked where the lamb was to sacrifice with. Abraham said,” The Lord shall provide”. When they came to the appointed place, Abraham bound Isaac up and was just about to murder him with his knife, when an angel appeared and stopped Abraham. God now trusted him, as he would go as far to murder his own son. The mountain was renamed, “The Lord Shall Provide”.
As a reward God gave Abraham many descendants, as equal to the stars in the sky, or the sand on the seashore.
The Ten Commandments
After 3 months of fleeing Egypt, the Israelites came to the Sinai desert. They had just left the land of Rephidim and where camped in front of the mountain. God told Moses to address the house of Jacob and tell the people of Israel what they’d seen done to Egypt. And how he’d carried the Israelites on”eagle wings”. God said that the Israeliteswould become a kingdom of priests and a holy nation if they obeyed God fully. They all agreed. Mosses then revived the following words from God and passed them on.
Only worship one God Don't worship idols Don't take the lords name in vain Rest on the Sabbath day Honour your mother and father Do not kill Do not commit adultery Do not steal Do not lie Do not covert your neighbours possessions
