How did the Trojan war start?

A

The goddess of chaos, Eris, wasn’t invited to a wedding. She got man and got a golden apple and wrote “to the fairest” on it and rolled it right between Hera, Athena, and Aphrodite. They began to fight over who is was for. They all went to Zeus to have him choose but Zeus handed the job over to Paris. The three goddesses bribed him.

Athena plants the idea of the Trojan horse inside Odysseus' head and he commands it to be built. The plan was that the Achaeans were going to "sail away" and they would leave one guy behind. Cassandra warns the Trojans. She dies. Plan goes as strategies. The Trojans party because they think they won. They get drunk. Helen figures out the horse is a trick. She tries to get the Achaens inside to reveal themselves, by imitating their wives. Almost worked but not.
