What is intermittent asthma/ Treatment?
Less than two times a week symptoms, night symptoms less than 2x per month, SABA use less than 2x per week (not is EIB is present), No interference of normal activity
Treatment with SABA PRN
What is Mild Persistent asthma/Treatment:
More than two times week but not daily, night symptoms less than 3-4x per month, SABA use more than 2x per week but not daily (not is EIB is present), Mild interference of normal activity
Treatment with SABA PRN and ICS
What is moderate persistent asthma?
Daily symptoms, night symptoms 1 time per week nut not nightly, SABA daily, some limitation of daily activities
What is severe persistent asthma?
Daily symptoms throughout the day, nightly, Several times per day needing SABA, much more limited in ADLs.
