Kilham and Mann replicated Milgrams experiment on male and female students in Australia.
40% of males obeyed to 450V while only 16% of females obeyed to 450V.
This shows that Gender can influence obedience
This may be due to societies values that men are suppressed of emotions while women are openly allowed to exhibit how they feel.
However, in this study the women were being ordered to shock another woman by a male authority figure, so they could have been subjected to in group favouritism.

Therefore, this could demonstrate that gender does not impact obedience.
