Obedience
A form of social influence. When someone follows an order from another person, they are obeying them.
Authority Figure
Any person who is in charge of others and has responsibility for those below them.
Blind Obedience
Obeying orders without asking questions or knowing what for.
Proximity
The tendency of people to form relationships with those who are physically closer to them.
Legitimacy
The tendency of people to obey authority if they think their principles and morals are correct.
Locus of Control
The degree to which people believe they are in charge of what happens to them in their lives.
Personal Responsibility
The belief that humans choose and control their actions and what happens to them.
Authoritarian Personality
Someone with an authoritarian personality will be extremely believing and obedient to authority figures, believe in rigid ideas of justice, and most likely be right-wing.
