Atypical Squamous Cells of Uncertain Significance MC common abnormality Funny looking cells, not nec. CA
HSIL
High Grade Squamous Intraepithelial Changes consistent with moderate to severe dysplasia
Excessive and prolonged uterine bleeding occurring at irregular, frequent intervals
Menometorrhagia
Depo Provera
A/E: Ca loss, bone weakness, irregular bleeding, No VTE risk
Atypical Glandular Cells
Up to 50% have significant pathology
LGSIL
Low Grade squamous intraepithelial lesion Worse than ASCUS Be be related to current HPV infection
Abnormally heavy bleeding that lasts longer than usual, but still regular cycle
Menorrhagia
IUD
Contra: Infx, undiag vag. bleeding, past salpingitis
Infrequent or very light menstration
Oligomenorrhea
ASCH
Atypical Squamous cells, can’t exclude high grade Looks abnormal, can’t rule out high grade, yet doesn’t meet high grade.
Utterine bleeding occurring at irregular intervals (not menses)
Metorrhagia
