Q1: Name the three different oxygen systems onboard the A220
A: Flight Deck Oxygen, Cabin Oxygen and portable oxygen.
Q2: What microphones disable and enable once the mask stowage box doors are opened?
A: The headset and handset microphones are inhibited, and the oxygen mask microphone is automatically enabled.
Q3: What is the function of the N/100% oxygen supply lever in N (Normal)?
A: The regulator supplies a mixture of oxygen and cabin air to the mask. At 35000ft the air inlet on the regulator closes and 100% pure oxygen will be delivered regardless of selector position.
Q4: What are the two functions of the O2 PRESS TO TEST AND RESET control lever?
A: It allows the testing of oxygen flow without removing the mask. It also closes the flow of oxygen after usage and resets the microphone to enable headset communication.
Q5: What is the location of the overboard discharge indicator?
A: Located on the lower left side of the fuselage nearby the ground servicing panel.
Q6: What is the normal cylinder pressure for the cabin oxygen system?
A: 1850 PSI
Q7: What system provides oxygen for the individual cabin crew oxygen masks?
A: A chemical oxygen generator located at each passenger seat, cabin crew station and galley seat. In the lavatories an oxygen cylinder is used.

A: If the cabin altitude exceeds 14500’.
Q9: What alternate (manual) method ls available to deploy the passenger

A: Using the PAX OXY switch on the cockpit overhead panel.

A: There is one bottle located near each flight attendant station.

A: One in the flight deck, two in the FWD galley and one in the AFT galley.
