What important information should be explored when taking a case history from a high risk nutritional patient?
A
From the dietary history, food serves can be calculated and compared to the recommended serves.
• The adequacy of energy and nutrient intakes can then be compared to the recommended dietary intake
• The food and nutrient data is then combined with other sources of information (clinical examination, laboratory tests) to help confirm or rule out a nutritional diagnosis
