How do we test for starch
Add two drops of iodine to the sample. If starch is present, it will turn blue/black

1.neutralise stomach acid to provide a substitute pH for enzymes
2.emulsifies fats
What is the function of the small intestine 
Where digested food is absorbed into the blood
Why are enzymes known as biological catalysts 
They speed up reactions without being used up in living things
