an ecosystem that hasnt been changed by the human activity

what is mycorrhizae
relationships that some fungi form with the root of plants. in this relationship the fungi which are made of long, thin strands called hyphae connects to the plants root, they greatly increase the surface area of the plants root system helping it to absorb ions from the soil that are usually scarce and also increase the water intake, in turn the fungi obtains organic compounds from the plant such as glucose.
