who were The Nazarite?
any man who wished to be holy and separated to the Lord, even if he was not a Levite, could still take special vows of holiness and become a Nazarite. They were considered separation to God for the time set by their vow.
What was special about the house of Levi?
Any man born in the tribe of Levi was considered holy to the Lord because of his responsibilities for the tabernacle and all the holy articles.

Moses resists having an envious spirit at the gifts of others, so much so that he could wish that every man had as great or greater gifts than he had.

What did Joshua want to do about Eldad and Medad ?
Joshua wanted them silenced. He does not desire that they should be punished but only restrained.
what do we learn from the treatment of Eldad and Medad?
We must not be quick to condemn and silence those that differ from us, as if they do not follow Christ because they do not follow him the way we do.
what did Joshua, and Caleb do that was different from the rest?
Joshua, and Caleb, were the only ones who urged with confidence that since God was with them they could succeed.
What lesson do we learn from Moses after the rebellion at Sinai
Moses gives us powerful lesson in intercessory prayer. We really do cooperate with God in determining how things turn out!
What is the result of the rebellion at Sinai?
This judgment involved the sentence of wandering in the desert for 40 years, until everyone in the older generation had died (except for Joshua and Caleb), and a new generation, who were born to them in the wilderness, had grown up
