Also known as polynucleotides, are the information molecules of the cell. They are polymers,made of many nucleotide monomer units. They carry all the information needed to form new cells.

How are nucleic polynucleotides built?
A
Nucleic acids are chains of nucleotides linked together by condensation reactions that produce phosphodiester bonds between the sugar on one nucleotide and the phosphate group of the next nucleotide.
