What is chain reaction
A
During a fission, 2 or 3 neutrons are produced. Each of these protons then initiate another fission in a nearby fissile nucleus.

A
Happens when the masses of the individual nucleons needed to make a light element are added together exceeds the mass of the resulting nucleus

A
Energy needed to pull the nucleons apart

How does nuclear fusion happen
A
It occurs when the nuclei of atoms at very high temperatures and pressures approach one another at such a high speed, and therefore with sufficient energy that they overcome the electrical repulsion and fuse.
